Gary, representing the second generation of the Hill family, has over four decades of experience in the heavy highway construction industry. He has overseen the company’s most complex projects and been instrumental in its growth.
As CEO, he is responsible for the overall strategy of the company and ensuring that Union Concrete is well positioned to remain an industry leader for years to come. He has spent his full career embodying the company’s commitment to quality, integrity and partnership.
Gary has also been a tireless champion of the industry. He has served two terms as President of the Associated General Contractors of New York State. He has also been deeply involved with the Fair Apportionment of Infrastructure Revenue (FAIR) Committee fighting to ensure that Western New York gets a fair share of the state’s transportation spending.
Gary holds a degree in Construction Engineering Technology from Alfred State College. He is a heavily involved alumnus and generous benefactor. He was a successful co-chair of the fundraising committee for the new state of the art construction materials lab.
