Union Concrete performed specialized restoration work at the South Buffalo Lighthouse complex on Buffalo’s Lake Erie waterfront. The project included rehabilitation of approximately 3,000 square feet of deteriorated concrete, reinforcement and placement of a new structural concrete overlay, cable rail repairs, and extensive work to the foghorn building. Additional improvements included replacement of the foghorn building roof and supporting timbers, restoration of existing steel trusses, and installation of a new membrane roofing system to help preserve this historic waterfront facility.
