Project Overview

Renewing Critical Airfield Infrastructure

Union Concrete completed the rehabilitation of Taxiways A and B at the Cattaraugus County–Olean Airport. The project restored aging airfield pavement through surface milling, pavement crack repairs, asphalt truing and leveling, and placement of a new asphalt overlay. New pavement markings completed the rehabilitation, providing a renewed taxiway surface designed to support continued aircraft operations at the regional airport.

Taxiway Pavement Rehabilitation
Rehabilitated Taxiway A and portions of Taxiway B through surface milling and targeted crack repairs, addressing deteriorated pavement while preserving the underlying airfield infrastructure.
New Asphalt Overlay
Placed asphalt truing and leveling material followed by a new two-inch asphalt overlay, providing a renewed and consistent taxiway surface for aircraft operations.
Airfield Pavement Markings
Completed new pavement markings across the rehabilitated taxiway areas, restoring clear operational guidance as part of the finished airfield improvements.
