Project Overview

Transforming a High-Traffic Intersection for Safer Travel

Union Concrete completed a comprehensive highway safety and intersection improvement project along NY Route 240 (Orchard Park Road) in the Town of West Seneca. The project centered on construction of a new roundabout at Fisher Road, along with roadway widening and intersection improvements designed to improve traffic flow and safety throughout the corridor. Work also included pavement, pedestrian, utility, drainage, signing, and other supporting infrastructure improvements to deliver a modernized transportation corridor for the community.

New Fisher Road Roundabout

Constructed a new roundabout at the intersection of NY Route 240 and Fisher Road, replacing the existing intersection configuration with a modern design intended to improve traffic operations and intersection safety.

Roadway & Intersection Improvements

Completed roadway widening, pavement improvements, and associated intersection work along the NY Route 240 corridor to improve traffic movements and accommodate the redesigned roadway configuration.

Infrastructure & Utility Upgrades

Coordinated and completed supporting infrastructure improvements throughout the project, including pedestrian facilities, drainage, signing, and relocation or adjustment of existing utilities and sanitary sewer infrastructure.
