Select areas of deteriorated concrete on the bridge decks and substructures were removed and replaced, modular joint seals were replaced and all exposed concrete was resealed. The steel received spot painting as well. Underneath, scour protection was placed and concrete block paving was installed at the abutment slope along Shadagee Rd. Back up top, approaches were modified, asphalt overlays were placed and new bridge rail was installed.
