Matt has over 15 years of experience in the heavy highway construction industry. He has been with Union Concrete for 12 and has been a high performer, rising from superintendent to Vice-President. He successfully completed the company’s most complex project, the $59 million Gateway Connections Project at the Peace Bridge.
Currently, as Vice-President, Matt is responsible for the construction operations of the company. He manages the dispatching crews and equipment across the company and sets the construction schedule. Matt is also heavily involved in the company’s bidding and is instrumental in deciding which projects to bid. He will also routinely serve as project manager on many projects each year.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Cornell University.
