The existing bridge was a 5 span truss bridge and was replaced with a 4 span steel mulit-girder structure. The new structure included architectural finishes cast in to the bridge parapet. The street light poles on the bridge display Seneca Nation banners, and the base of each has a metal medallion representing the clan animals. A two-tiered fishing platform was constructed with the upper tier being accessible by ramps and is ADA compliant, while the lower tier is accessible via stairs. The project also included new drainage, curb, and sidewalk.
